“Both in lovely condition with no splits or repairs, definitely no wear/polish holes and no nasty knocks or dents, just a couple of minor little surface bruises, really nothing much and nice genuine antique examples. The silver lid hinges both work perfectly and the lids open and close securely. Both are beautifully all-over decorated with attractive foliate engraving and they are good large size with a nice silver weight. Each with period engraved monograms in the cartouches.”
